Catherine Viel
Freelance writer and certified copyeditor Catherine Viel loves nothing more than making her clients' work shine like a bright new copper penny. While her focus these days is on her editing business, WriteCat Communications, she writes regularly and hasn't given up on publishing one of the novels languishing in her computer. Her short fiction has appeared in several literary magazines, including Spectrum, and she is currently at work on a nonfiction book and a speculative fiction novel. She has assisted authors with more than forty book projects (both nonfiction and fiction) which have been published in traditional as well as self-publishing venues. Catherine has lived and worked in Santa Barbara for more than thirty years and freely admits she'd rather read a good book than do almost anything else. Visit her website at www.writecat.com.
