A native of New Hampshire, Ms. Brown is a recent transplant to Santa Barbara. Her poems have appeared in Rattle, Rivertalk, Into the Teeth of the Wind, and Ekphrasis. She is currently an MFA candidate in Poetry at Antioch University Los Angeles.

Poetry At Reds Café October 28, 2005 (Mary L. Brown) When I walk into Reds Café it's as if I'm slipping back a bit in time. The lighting is dim, the décor funky and eclectic.
